Our History

Janet and Fred David are the owners of Igknight Pty Ltd. We are an NDIS registered provider and a provider of choice. Our approach is to design services around your needs and to customise the supports you require to achieve the outcomes you desire. You are at the centre of any decisions you make, and your goals will enable you to achieve the outcomes of your choice.

Fred and Janet have a strong foundation in supporting and enhancing the lives of people with disabilities. With Fred’s background in ministry, supporting young people through difficult lifestyle changes, and Janet’s background working for ADHC as a Registered Nurse, they have built an organisation focused on including people in the community, no matter their disability. Since completing her degree in nursing in 1993, Janet has worked in the Illawarra Shoalhaven community as a Registered Nurse, Case Manager, and NDIS Support Coordinator, supporting people with disabilities both in the NSW Government and the private sector.

In 2017, Fred established Cycle Tours NSW, a tourism business focusing on customised cycle tours. In 2018, his passion for cycling and community support led him to provide individual support to people with disabilities. We want to support you in living your best life and being included and connected in your community.

Janet David

Owner • Director • Registered Nurse • NDIS Compliance

Born, raised, and living in Wollongong, I trained in nursing at UOW and have provided disability support to people from all walks of life since 1994. I have worked in both government and private organisations, offering clinical and practical support to some of the most complex individuals in our community. One of my favourite aspects of this work is seeing the joy on someone's face when they achieve something they never thought possible, from the smallest to the biggest goal. Everyone deserves a full and happy life – Igknight is one way I can contribute to making that happen.

Cherie Crowe

Manager, Community Access Services

Cherie started working in the disability sector while she completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology at the University of Wollongong. For nearly thirty years, Cherie has worked in community services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions. This has included working across the disability sector, aged care sector, providing carer supports, and in a mental health recovery program. Cherie loves that each person she encounters through her work is unique, and that the NDIS allows for person-centred, individualised supports.
